Hydrogel

Microdacyn® Hydrogel is a stabilized, hydroactive, amorphous gel for the rehydration of necrotic and fibrinous tissue. It supports autolytic debridement and creates a physiological wound-healing milieu.

Multiple use is no problem

In comparison to most other hydrogels, Microdacyn® Hydrogel can be used for 30 days after opening. In addition, it is possible to use one gel dispenser for multiple patients. The gel is preserved by sodium hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid. These substances provide product stability and are also used in the body’s own immune system.

Maximum tolerance

Since Microdacyn® Hydrogel is tolerated extremely well, it can also be used on exposed bones, tendons, and ligaments.

Indications

Microdacyn® Hydrogel can be used for all dry and weakly exsuding wounds. This includes all wounds that have to be rehydrated and second-degree burns.

Water, sodium chloride, hypochlorous acid, sodium hypochlorite.

Microdacyn60® Hydrogel is an environmentally friendly product that can be disposed of quite normally without any particular requirements.
